Door County in Northern Wisconsin is one of the premier vacation destinations in the Midwest. Door County Specialties

With the popularity of fishing, it only stands to reason that fish boils are found at many area restaurants. Local whitefish, onions, and potatoes are cooked in large kettles over a wood fire. You can then finish off your meal with a delicious cherry pie. Cherry growing dates back to the 19th century, and the environment of Door County is perfect for growing this fruit.
